Best Family Resort in Dominican Republic
One of my favourite trips over the past few years was my trip to Dominican Republic. We went to this amazing resort that was the best resort for me and my family to stay at! Here are some of the things I did during my week-long stay at Royalton Splash.
Food
This resort is amazing for food. It is an all inclusive making the trip so worth it. One of my favourite parts of travelling is eating food. The buffet they had was a go to everyday. When we could not decide where to go we would juts head over to the selections buffet.
The building was nice and open and the food never disappointed. They had everything from a pasta bar to a cheesecake display. My favourite food there was the mini cheesecakes that varied each day.
The buffet was not all. This Royalton Splash Resort also had Italian, Japanese, and plenty more, making this one of the best family resorts in Dominican Republic. I appreciated all the delectable variety that always kept me satisfied.
This was a part of the Japanese restaurant just over at the neighboring Royalton Resort next to Royalton Splash.
Not only was the food good but the drinks as well! The swim up bar made my time at the pool well spent. You could get as many drinks as you wanted. I had too many Shirley Temples to count.
Activities
Another thing that makes this resort the best family resort in Dominican Republic is the amazing activities that kept me and my family entertained during our whole week.
You may have seen the palm trees in my past photography post, and wondered where exactly that is, well that beach is at this resort! The beach there is gorgeous and was such a wonderful place to relax during the trip.
Not only is there a beach, but there is also many pools that have swim up bars. Lounging around the pool deck with a nice cold drink is perfect for kids and adults alike.
During the night, the pools are especially gorgeous and relaxing.
If you are more of an activity person, Royalton Splash does have a waterpark, as the name says, and even an escape room! The waterpark was a family favourite because the slides are thrilling. They also offer slushies to keep your energy up if you decide to spend a day there, which I highly recommend.
They have excursions like snorkeling but when we were there the weather was too stormy to do any of them.
They also have plenty of evening parties and outings that are sure to please late-night adventure-loving people.
The palm trees at night are decorated with lights that make the whole resort glow!
Conclusion
Overall, Royalton Splash in Punta Cana is one of the best family resorts in Dominican Republic. The food combined with the waterpark make it suitable for a variety of age groups. The drinks were my personal favourite, and I am sure would be yours too if you decided to take a trip to Punta Cana.
