2 day San Francisco Itinerary

A couple years ago I had the most amazing road trip along the coast. One of my most favourite stops was San Fransisco. I did plenty of amazing things. Here is what I was able to fit into my 2 day San Francisco itinerary.

Exploring The Pier

When I arrived I explored pier 39. It was such a nice place to walk around and experience the water and the shops. I highly recommend starting with this if you wanna see the sights.

The souvenir shops were also nice, and the street music was a joy to listen too. For lunch I stopped at Bubba Gump Shrimp and had amazing seafood and a lovely view!

Overall the pier was an amazing start to my trip.

Japanese Tea Garden

My next stop was a fantastic Japanese Tea Garden that showcased plenty of amazing plants and views. The uber there was beautiful as well because of all the amazing infrastructure that littered the city. The architecture was so much different from Montreal’s!

When I arrived and began my tour around the garden, the plants and wildlife excited me. I loved experiencing the secretive paths and interesting bridges.

I highly recommend stopping by the garden if you have a chance!

Alcatraz

A place I highly recommend is Alactraz. I found the prison super interesting to tour. The history was eery and amazing. If you are a big prison buff I highly recommmend putting this high on your list of things to do during your 2 day San Francisco itinerary.

Another reason I loved it so much was because of the amazing buildings and staircases. They felt old and magical. Definitely a place to check out if you are an architecture buff like me.

Conclusion

San Francisco was one of my favourite cities to visit. I hope my itinerary inspires you to check out these places during your next visit!
